Returns & Refunds

Most Soulbound Chains pieces are handmade to order, created with care and intention. Because of this, returns and cancellations are limited, but I’ll always do my best to ensure you’re happy with your order.

Return Eligibility

For ready-made (precrafted) items, you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return, in line with EU consumer protection laws.
To be eligible, the item must be:

  • In the same condition you received it (unworn, unused, and undamaged)

  • In its original packaging

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Custom & Made-to-Order Items

Because most pieces are made specifically for you, custom and made-to-order items are not eligible for return or cancellation once work has begun.
This exception is permitted under EU law for handmade or personalized goods.
Likewise, jewelry that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (such as earrings or worn items) is non-returnable.

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies for return, you’re always welcome to email me before purchasing.


Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact me immediately if your piece arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

 

Exchanges & Trades

I don’t offer traditional exchanges, as each piece is handmade.
However, I do accept trade offers — particularly for jewelry materials or ethically sourced bones.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return eligible (non-custom, unworn) items within 14 days of receiving them — for any reason.
As above, the item must be unworn, unused, and in its original condition and packaging.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact me at soulboundchains@gmail.com. 

 

Ethical Sourcing

All bone or other animal materials used in Soulbound Chains are ethically sourced.
I only work with naturally deceased animals found outdoors and cleaned through a respectful process using my own well loved beetle colony.
No animals are harmed, hunted, or farmed for my art.
Every bone is treated with care, reverence, and proper sanitation before being incorporated into their new form.
